Both are cut from 3 mm cast acrylic. The smaller one sits on a desk or bedside table. The A5 is made for a shelf or a wall.

The back of each plaque is painted black. A 10 W laser then burns your design through the paint, and we fill the engraving white by hand. Seen through the clear acrylic, the photo floats in glossy black with a depth a print never has.
Because it is engraved from the back, the front stays smooth and wipe-clean. Because it is a photo made of thousands of tiny dots, it looks its best from arm's length: like a good screen print.

Questions people ask before ordering
How does the Spotify code work?
Open Spotify on your phone, tap the search bar, tap the camera icon and point it at the code. The song opens and plays. It works on free and premium accounts. Not the Spotify app? Any barcode app will not read it: it is Spotify-only.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear photo with good light and one or two faces, taken close enough that faces are large. The engraving is made of small dots, so fine detail (distant faces, busy backgrounds) softens. Our preview shows you exactly how it will engrave, and the brightness and contrast sliders help a lot.
How long until I get it?
We engrave within 3 business days of payment, then courier delivery takes 2–5 business days depending on where you are. Collection in Bloemfontein is free.
Can I return a personalised plaque?
Because each plaque is made to your design, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns once it has been engraved. If it arrives damaged, is faulty, or does not match your approved preview, we replace it or refund you in full. See the returns policy.
